Flood in Assam :Death Toll Rises to 18 as Assam Floods

The first flood of the year has hit the state .  Floods are flooding one district after another  .The 2248 villages in 81 residential areas in 31 districts of the state have been affected by floods.Four people died in the floods on Saturday . Accordingly, the death toll rises to 18 (Death Toll Rises to 18 As Assam Floods ).  According to the latest data released by the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (Flood update in Assam) , a total of 6,80,118 people and a total of 93,562.40 hectares of agricultural land have been affected by the floods in the state till Saturday.  Rescue and relief operations are already continuing in the affected areas.
