Cabinet meeting: Decision to set up 6 polytechnics and ITIs in collaboration with TATA Technology

 The Cabinet meeting of the Government of Assam will be held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Himanta Bishwa Sharma.  The approval will be extended to a total of 1,16,360 households. An important decision of the Cabinet is to build 34 polytechnics and 43 ITIs by the Assam government in collaboration with TATA Technology.  The total cost will be Rs 2390 crore and 6% of the cost will be borne by TATA Technology.  The rest of the money will be spent by the Government of Assam.
