Assam’s Suman Adhikary and Nagaland’s Andrea Kevichüsa have made the region proud by winning at the recently held Filmfare Awards 2023.
Model and actor Andrea Kevichüsa, who hails from Nagaland, won the 'Best Debut Female' award for her role in 'Anek'. Andrea made her debut alongside actor Ayushmann Khurrana. She played the role of a North East Indian boxer in the film.
Suman won in two categories, Best Story and Best Screenplay for the movie 'Badhaai Do'.
He shared the Best Screenplay award with Akshat Ghildial and Harshavardhan Kulkarni, and the Best Story with Akshat Ghildial
