Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated the annual 'Adivasi Mela' and launched the 'Shaheed Madho Singh Hath Kharcha Yojana', which aims to address the problem of tribal students dropping out of studies.
Under the scheme, the government will provide financial assistance of Rs 5,000 to each tribal student studying in Classes 9 and 11 in government and aided schools across the state.
