The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences has announced the 2024 Nobel Prize for contributions to economics. The Sweriggs Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences, awarded in memory of Alfred Nobel, has been awarded to Daron Aismoglu, Simon Johnson and James A. has been given to Robinson. The winners have been awarded the honor for their studies on how institutions form and influence prosperity.
