Ram Charit Manas, Panchatantra and Sahridayok-lokan in UNESCO's Memory of the World Asia-Pacific Regional Register

India’s cultural and historical heritage has been included in UNESCO’s ‘Memory of the World Asia-Pacific Regional Register’.  The Ram Charit Manas, Panchatantra and Sahridayaloka-lokan of India have been included in this special register.  Ramacharitmanas', 'Panchatantra' and 'Sahridayaloka-lokan' have had a profound impact on India's social, religious and philosophy of life and have profoundly influenced Indian literature and culture, shaping the moral fabric and artistic expressions of the country .

 These literary masterpieces have gone beyond time and space and left an indelible impression on readers and artists both within and outside India.  It is noteworthy that ‘Sahridayaloka-lokan’, ‘Panchatantra’ and ‘Ramacharitmanas’ were composed by Pt.  Acharya Anandvardhan, Vishnu Sharma and Goswami Tulsidas.
