After the revival of Ramlala, a magnificent temple of Mata Sita is now being built in Sri Lanka.  It is said that on May 19, the temple will be the prana pratishtha of Sita Maa.  For this, water from the Sarayu River in Ayodhya will be sent to Sri Lanka.  The Sri Lankan delegation has written a letter to the UP government in this regard.  The letter had requested to send water for the installation of the idol of Maa Janaki.  The UP tourism department has been given the responsibility of sending water from the Sarayu river to Sri Lanka.
The Shri Ram Mandir Trust said the initiative would strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.  Ayodhya Tirtha Vikas Parishad CEO Santosh Kumar Sharma said that the Sita Amma temple is being constructed in Sri Lanka.  Water from the Sarayu River has been imported from there.  We will fill the urn and deliver the holy water to Sri Lanka.  Sita Amma is to be revived on May 19.
