Every year, the last week of April (April 24 to 30) is celebrated as ‘World Immunization Week’.  The global vaccine campaign of the second half of the 20th century is one of the greatest achievements of humanity.  Vaccination campaigns have enabled us to eradicate smallpox, to virtually eradicate polio.
This year, the theme of ‘World Immunization Week’ 2024 is ‘Humanily Possible: Immunization for All’.
Last year, the theme of World Immunization Week 2023 was 'The Big Catch-Up'.
