The success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission is talked about from the country to the world.  The Chandrayaan made a successful landing on the lunar surface on August 23.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi has now announced that the day (August 23) will be celebrated as National Space Day.  PM Modi said that on August 23, when India hoisted the tricolor on the moon, the day will be celebrated as National Space Day.  This day will always inspire us.
 Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned home on Saturday after completing a two-nation tour.  He arrived in Bangalore directly from Greece and met scientists at ISRO's command centre.  The PM saluted the ISRO scientists and congratulated them for the mission.  "The countrymen should know the sadhana you have done. This journey was not easy. To ensure the soft landing of the moon lander, scientists even made artificial. It was tested by landing the Vikram lander," Modi said  .
