Assam To Conduct Five Major Music And Dance Competitions, Announces CM

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on the eve of the All Assam Inter-district boxing championship made a significant announcement to empower Assam's youths using cultural activities and recreation.
During this event, the Chief Minister accompanied by Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Nandita Garlosa, MLA Siddhartha Bhattacharya, and GMC Mayor Mrigen Sarania, revealed the state's plans to conduct five major music and dance competitions, including Jyoti Sangeet, Bhupendra Sangeet, Rabha Sangeet, Rabindra Sangeet, Bihu Dance, and Tribal Dance.
These competitions will be organized at multiple levels, starting from the grassroots level encompassing villages, blocks, districts, and constituencies, and eventually culminating at the state level.
