Dr. Mayur Hazarika of Assam tops the selected list of Indian Foreign Service . The All India Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination, 2022 results announced on May 23, 2022 showed that Mayur Hazarika made history in Assam by securing the fifth highest position in the country .Mayur was already working as a doctor in Nagaon. Mayur Hazarika is the son of Krishna Hazarika and Mousumi Hazarika, engineers of Tezpur.
In 2013, he passed the High School Leaving Certificate Examination from Don Bosco, Tezpur  In 2015, he passed the Higher Secondary Examination from Ramanujan Junior College, Nagaon in the Science department .He passed MBBS from Guwahati Medical College and was working as a doctor.
