52 artists, writers and journalists from Assam have been awarded central scholarships

 The Center for Cultural Research and Training (CCRRT) under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India has announced scholarships in the senior and junior categories for the last two years.  The scholarships are awarded for field studies in folk culture, arts and literature, folk instruments, folk customs, tribal food and music and drama of different states of India.
 The scholarships will be awarded to 399 individuals involved in society, literature, culture and journalism in the country in the senior and junior categories for the two years 2020-21 and 2021-22. According to the schedule, 52 persons from Assam received scholarships from the Ministry of Culture in various fields.
 12 students have received scholarships in the senior category and 9 students in the junior category for the year 2020-21. Similarly, 15 students in the senior category and 16 students in the junior category have received scholarships for the year 2021-22.
