New Parliament Building Inauguration : PM Modi described the new Parliament building as grand and divine, said it would bring prosperity and strength to the nation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the new Parliament House.  Several opposition parties opposed the inauguration and boycotted the event.  The rituals were performed by the Adhinam saints of Tamil Nadu with all the rituals.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla were present at the puja.  After the religious ceremony, the saints handed over the sengol to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which has been installed in the new Parliament House.
"Today is an unforgettable day for all of us," Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted after inaugurating the new Parliament House.  "The new building of Parliament is going to fill us all with pride and hope," he tweeted.  I am confident that this divine and magnificent building will empower the people as well as give new impetus and strength to the prosperity and strength of the nation.
