For the first time, the Government of Assam has set a world record.
The state government has set a world record in an essay competition.
There was an essay competition on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Lachit Barphukan.57Lakhs contestants participated in the competition. 42.94 lakh essays considered for the world record.The contestants participated in 30 other languages including Assamese.The Chief Minister officially received the world record certificate awarded by the Guinness World Records Authority.
