Supreme Court will hear the law made on Love Jihad, will first test its validity

The Supreme Court will hear petitions challenging the laws made in Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Jharkhand and Karnataka against love jihad and illegal religious conversion.  But the court will first test the validity of these laws.  During the hearing, the Supreme Court asked Kapil Sibal, a lawyer for one of the parties, to file an application to transfer the pending petitions in various High Courts to the Supreme Court challenging these laws.  The court will further hear on January 30.
