Indian Security Forces: In the midst of the ongoing conflict with China, the Indian Armed Forces are now going to acquire 'Pralaya' ballistic missile which can hit targets from 150 to 500 km. Defense sources said that the proposal presented by the Indian Defense Forces is in an advanced stage and may be approved during a high-level meeting this week.
This proposal is also important because it has come at a time when the Indian Army is working on building a rocket force, which is being discussed at the highest level in the Ministry of Defense.
The Pralay missile was successfully test-fired twice in two consecutive days in December last year and since then the Army is working towards its acquisition and induction.
