National Desk:
India's most powerful missile Agni-5 (Agni-5 ICBM) was successfully tested. This test was done at night. For the first time the missile was fired in its full range. That is, it destroyed the target by going 5500 kilometers away. DRDO (DRDO) and Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) have jointly built this missile. The issue is not that what is its range, China and many countries fear that their entire area is coming in the JD of this missile.
The weight of Agni-5 missile (Agni-V) is 50 thousand kg. It is 17.5 meters long. Its diameter is 2 meters i.e. 6.7 feet. A nuclear weapon weighing 1500 kg can be installed on top of it. This missile has three stage rocket boosters which fly with solid fuel. Its speed is 24 times more than the speed of sound. That is, it covers a distance of 8.16 kilometers in one second.
Agni-5 missile (Agni-V) attacks the enemy at a speed of 29,401 kilometers per hour. It is equipped with Ring Laser Gyroscope Inertial Navigation System, GPS, NavIC Satellite Guidance System. Agni-5 missile strikes the target with precision. If the target moves away from its place even from 10 to 80 meters, then it is difficult to escape.
If India fires this missile, it can attack entire Asia, some part of Europe, Ukraine, Russia, Japan, Indonesia. The most special thing about this missile is its MIRV technology (Multiple Independently Targetable Re-entry Vehicles). In this technique, the number of warheads mounted on the missile can be increased. That is, a missile can target multiple targets simultaneously.
