Rupee is not falling, dollar is getting stronger, said Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in America

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman says that the Indian rupee is not falling, but the dollar is getting stronger.  The Finance Minister is on an official visit to America these days.  During a press conference in Washington DC, when she was asked a question about the softening of the rupee, she said this.
   Nirmala Sitharaman said that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is taking the best measures to stop the fall of the rupee.  During the press conference, the Finance Minister was questioned about the challenges to be faced in the coming days due to the depreciation of the rupee. Also asked what is the purpose of the government to save it from further breakdown.
   The Finance Minister said, "The rupee is not falling, but the dollar is getting stronger.  The condition of all other currencies against the dollar is similar.
   Nirmala Sitharaman said that the RBI is constantly trying not to cause too much volatility regarding the currency.  RBI's effort is not related to correcting the value of rupee by interfering in the market.
