National Desk:
Kuno National Park will reopen on Sunday (today) after the monsoon rains stop.  But tourists will not get entry in that area, where 8 cheetahs have been kept in quarantine.  The Director of KNP said that due to late monsoon rains in Madhya Pradesh, Kuno National Park was closed for tourists for more than three months.  But this wait will end on Sunday.
According to the agency, KNP director Uttam Sharma said that the KNP spread over 750 sq km has 3 gates.  But only two out of three gates will be opened, one gate will not open.  This is the same place where cheetahs have been kept in the quarantine area.
8 cheetahs were brought from Namibia to KNP located in Sheopur.  After releasing the cheetahs at KNP on September 17, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that cheetahs need time to get used to their new habitat.  PM Modi had said that 'Cheetah is our guest.  We should give them a few months to make Kuno National Park our home.'
