LPG Price Latest News: There is a continuous increase in the prices of gas cylinders. Looking at the data of the last 2 years, there has been a bumper increase in the prices of LPG, but a big decision has been taken by the Central Government to reduce the prices of gas cylinders.
The cabinet meeting has been held under the chairmanship of PM Modi. In this meeting, it has been decided that one time grant of Rs 22 thousand crore will be given to government oil companies. With this, the loss of these companies will also be compensated, as well as the general public will also be able to get relief from expensive LPG.
Anurag Thakur said that to reduce the financial pressure on the companies, it has been decided to provide financial help. Let us tell you that from October 2020 till now i.e. in the last 2 years, there has been an increase of Rs 459 in gas prices.
Let us tell you that on 1 October 2020, the price of 14.2 kg gas cylinder in the country's capital Delhi was Rs 594. Apart from this, it was Rs 620.50 in Kolkata, Rs 610 in Chennai and Rs 594 in Mumbai. At the same time, if we talk about the prices today, it is Rs 1053 in Delhi, Rs 1079 in Kolkata, Rs 1052.50 in Mumbai and Rs 168.50 in Chennai.
