27 mountaineers missing in Uttarkashi avalanche died, 11 identified so far

27 mountaineers have died in an avalanche in Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi.  So far 11 dead bodies have been brought to Uttarkashi and they have been identified.  This figure has been released by NIM after the rescue operation which lasted for several hours.  There was a big accident here on Tuesday.  Nearly many trekkers were trapped in an avalanche on Draupadi's Danda-2 mountain peak located at an altitude of 17,000 feet here.
    A list has been issued by NIM.  It has been told that so far 27 climbers have died in the avalanche.  It included two instructors and 27 trainee climbers.  But the weather remains a hindrance in bringing the dead bodies.  Therefore, only 11 dead bodies have been brought to Uttarkashi so far.
    The NIM has said in the rescue bulletin that on October 4, 4 bodies were found, including two instructors and two trainee climbers.  On the other hand, on 6 October 15, 7 on 7 October and 1 body was found on 8 October (Saturday).  NIM has said that 27 have died in the avalanche so far, while 2 trainees are still missing.
