S. Jaishankar released the world’s first postage stamp of Ram Lalla in Laos

Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar’s recent visit to Laos has highlighted India’s growing global influence and its commitment to promoting international relations.

During his three-day visit to Laos, Jaishankar unveiled an unprecedented set of commemorative postage stamps – the world’s first postage stamp dedicated to the Ayodhya idol of Lord Ram. There are two stamps in this set – one depicts the revered idol of Lord Rama and the other depicts Lord Buddha. This initiative highlights India’s rich cultural heritage and its emphasis on cultural diplomacy.
