The government has appointed Preeti Soodan as the Chairperson of the Union Public Service Commission

The government has appointed former Health Secretary Preeti Sudan as the Chairperson of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).  She will replace Manoj Soni.  She is currently a UPSC member and will take over on Thursday.  Her term will expire in April 2025.
