LIC chairman Siddhartha Mohanty redesignated as MD & chief executive

Public sector life insurer Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has re-appointed its Chairman Siddharth Mohanty as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director with effect from June 30,  It's not yet known if the life insurer will appoint a new president.
 Siddharth Mohanty took over as the Chairman of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) in April  Earlier, he was the Managing Director of Life Insurance Corporation of India.  He holds a master's degree in political science, in addition to a bachelor's degree in law and a master's certificate in business management.
