WHO recognized the third Indian Institute for Traditional Medicine Research

The World Health Organization (WHO) has designated the National Institute of Indian Medical Heritage (NIIMH) in Hyderabad under the Ministry of Ayush as the WHO Collaborating Center (CC) for Traditional Medicine Research.  Established in 1956, NIIMH has been at the forefront of various digital initiatives of AYUSH.  The recognition, announced on Friday, is for a period of four years, making NIIMH the third Indian institute to receive such an honour.
