The Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), the apex industry association representing leading telecom, internet, technology and digital services companies, on Tuesday announced its new leadership for the period 2024-25, effective from June 2024.
Vodafone Idea Limited Chief Operating Officer (COO) Abhijeet Kishore will be the chairman while Bharti Airtel Chief Regulatory Officer (CRO) Rahul Vats will be the vice-chairman of the association. COAI Director General S.P. Kochhar said in a statement "As India enters the third innings of the Narendra Modi-led government, we hope the Digital India program and other progressive policies will continue to gain momentum and provide every citizen with access to digital resources and opportunities."
