Keki Mistry appointed as new chairman of HDFC Board

Banker Deepak S Parekh has resigned as Chairman and Non-Executive Director of HDFC Life Insurance on April 18.
 HDFC Life Insurance Company also announced that it has appointed Keki Mistry as the new Chairman of the Board.
 The company's board has unanimously approved the appointment of Keki Mistry as chairman of HDFC Life Insurance with immediate effect.  The decision will come into effect after getting the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) approval.
 Mistry has been with the Company since December 2000 and currently serves as a non-executive director.
