Hansa Mishra appointed as Director in UPSC

Hansa Mishra, a 2010 batch Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS) officer, has been appointed as Director in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Delhi. Mishra appointment comes after the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) recommended her for central deputation.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on 21.03.2024, the central government has approved the appointment of Mishra to the post under the Central Staffing Scheme. Her tenure as Director in UPSC will be for a period of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
