Indrani Mukherjea Series: CBI's petition demanding a ban on the release of web-series rejected, High Court made this comment

The Bombay High Court on Thursday refused to stay the release of a web-series based on Mumbai's high-profile Sheena Bora murder case and Indrani Mukherjee.  Rejecting the CBI plea, the High Court said that nothing has been found against the prosecution (CBI) in the Netflix web-series based on Sheena Bora murder accused Indrani Mukherjee.  With this decision of the court, the way has been cleared for releasing the series on the OTT platform.
The division bench of Justice Revati Mohite Dere and Justice Manjusha Deshpande was hearing the petition filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).  CBI had demanded a ban on the release of the web-series till the completion of the hearing in the Sheena Bora murder case.  The bench said it had seen the series but did not find anything in it which would have an adverse impact on the trial or the prosecution.
