Pankaj Udhas: Ghazal singer Pankaj Udhas passes away in Mumbai, breathed his last at the age of 72.

Famous ghazal singer Pankaj Udhas died on Monday in Mumbai at the age of 72.  He was ill for a long time.  The family of Udhas family informed about his demise by tweeting.  In a statement, he said, “With a very heavy heart, we are sad to inform you about the tragic demise of Padmashree Pankaj Udhas on February 26, 2024 due to prolonged illness.”  This news has come as a shock to many people.
Pankaj Udhas was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai for some time, where he breathed his last at around 11 am on Monday morning.  The mortal remains of Pankaj Udhas are currently in the hospital and are being awaited by his brothers.  The last rites of Pankaj Udhas will be performed on Tuesday.
 Singer Sonu Nigam was among the first to react to his death.  Sonu wrote on his Instagram account, “The most important part of my childhood has been lost today.  Mr. Pankaj Udhas ji, I will always remember you.  My heart cries knowing that you are no more.  Thank you for being a part of life.  Calmness."
