Since the establishment of Lord Ram in the Ram temple of Ayodhya, a large number of devotees have been reaching the temple to have darshan of Ramlala. In view of the huge crowd at the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Indian Railways has extended the start dates of operation of Ayodhya-bound Aastha trains from several states and union territories.
Railway Ministry gave information
A source in the Railway Ministry said that under the new proposal, Aastha trains are to run from February 1, 2024. Nearly 5 lakh people have visited the Ram temple in the first two days. This train will be a sleeper coach only train, all coaches will be non AC and sleeper. According to sources, vegetarian food, blankets and pillows will be provided in the ticket price.
