Gallantry award given to two IPS officers of UP on the occasion of Republic Day

Two IPS officers of Uttar Pradesh will be honored with Gallantry Award on the occasion of Republic Day.  One of these officers is DG Prashant Kumar and the other is DIG Manzil Saini.  Both these officers will be honored with gallantry awards by the President on 26 January.  This has been announced by the Home Ministry.
 Let us tell you that Prashant Kumar, born in Bihar, is a 1990 batch IPS officer.  During his tenure, notorious criminals and mafias have been eliminated.  He is also known by the name 'Singham' in UP Police.
 Meanwhile, NSG DIG Manzil Saini is a 2005 batch IPS officer.  She has graduated from Delhi School of Economics.  Manzil Saini managed to crack the UPSC exam in her very first attempt.  She has held the responsibility of SSP in Lucknow and Rampur.  During this period he did very good work.  She was the first woman officer to hold the post of SSP of Lucknow.
