Ratan Tata, former chairman of Tata Group, one of the oldest business houses of the country, has received death threats. This threat has been given through a phone call, which came to Mumbai Police. After which the police hurriedly increased the security of billionaire Ratan Tata. Now the person who gave the threat has been traced, but the police has not arrested him.
A threatening call to kill Ratan Tata had come to Mumbai Police. The person making the threat had said that Ratan Tata's security should be increased, otherwise his condition would be like that of Cyrus Mistry. After receiving this call, Mumbai Police came into alert mode and started investigation and increased the security of Ratan Tata. A special team was assigned the task to catch the accused. During the investigation, with the help of technical assistance and telecom service provider, the police has found the person who made this threat. It is noteworthy that former Tata Sons chairman and industrialist Cyrus Mistry died in a car accident on September 4, 2022 last year.
With the help of surveillance, Mumbai Police traced the person who threatened to kill Ratan Tata. Police said that the caller's location was found to be in Karnataka and he was a resident of Pune. As soon as the police reached his Pune residence, they came to know that the caller was missing for the last 5 days and his wife had also lodged a complaint at the Bhosari police station in the city.
