The people of Delhi got a big gift on Thursday. 500 electric low-floor DTC buses in Delhi were flagged off by Lieutenant Governor Vinai Saxena and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. With this, the number of electric low-floor buses in Delhi has increased to 1300. LG Vinay Saxena and CM Arvind Kejriwal also inspected the electric low-floor bus. After this, Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot informed the Lieutenant Governor and the Chief Minister about the features of the bus.
On this occasion, the Lieutenant Governor said that today 500 buses have been flagged off from our side. It will not cause pollution, this is a matter of great happiness for us. New buses of this type will continue to be added in Delhi. We have to make Delhi better, hence all efforts are going on.
