8 security personnel suspended in Parliament infiltration case, and security arrangements tightened

The two accused who intruded into Parliament and their two associates were produced in Patiala House Court today.  Meanwhile, the Parliament Secretariat suspended 8 security personnel today.  Their names are Rampal, Arvind, Veerdas, Ganesh, Anil, Pradeep, Vimit and Narendra.

 The security arrangements inside and outside the Parliament were further tightened.  Those going inside the Parliament were checked by removing their shoes.  Meanwhile, Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma was not allowed to enter the building from Makar Dwar.  After which Sangma got down from his car and went inside the Parliament through Shardul Gate.  According to police sources, the accused had already conducted recce outside the Parliament.  All the accused were associated with a social media page Bhagat Singh Fan Club.  Accused Sagar had come to Delhi from Lucknow in July but could not enter the Parliament House.  On December 10, one by one everyone reached Delhi from their respective states.  On the day of the incident, all the accused gathered near India Gate where color spray was distributed to everyone.  Police said that according to initial investigation, the main conspirator of the Parliament security breach is someone else.  Meanwhile, PM Narendra Modi reached Parliament and held a meeting with Union Ministers.  Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President JP Nadda, Union Ministers Pralhad Joshi and Anurag Thakur were present in the meeting.
