Retired Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Assam Police, devoted police officer and literary activist Anil Choudhury, 62, passed away on Tuesday . Anil Choudhury, who joined the Assam Police in 1987 and retired as Deputy Superintendent of Police after 34 years of service, died of cardiac arrest at Guwahati Medical College Hospital on Tuesday.
Anil Choudhury, who served efficiently in the Assam Police, successfully completed his career as Deputy Superintendent of Police from the 14th Assam Police Force on January 31, 2021 and was living with his family at Patarkuchi, Bashishta Chariali, Guwahati.
