Former United States President Donald Trump appeared in a New York state court on Monday (October 2) where a civil fraud case is pending against him and his family's business. He is accused of earning $100 million by lying about his real estate business. This case has been filed by New York Attorney General Letitia James.
James has demanded a fine of at least $ 250 million on the former President, a ban against him and his sons Donald Jr. and Eric from doing business in New York and a 5-year ban against the Trump Organization from doing real estate business.
Before the hearing, the former US President told the media that this case is a scam and a sham. He called it political revenge taken by James.
