Prominent writer of Barak Valley Bijit Kumar Bhattacharya passed away at a nursing home in Kolkata yesterday at the age of 84. He promised to donate his body after death. He had published a record 160 issues of his literary magazine. His death left a shadow of mourning in the Barak Valley.
