Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate the 'Yashobhoomi' to the nation at Dwarka in Delhi on Sunday. Yashobhoomi is a world class expo centre. PM Modi will also inaugurate the extension of the Delhi Airport Metro Express line from Dwarka Sector 21 to a new metro station in Dwarka Sector 25. The Prime Minister’s vision of world-class infrastructure to host meetings, conferences and exhibitions in the country will be strengthened with the operation of Phase 1 of the India International Conference and Expo Center (IICC) named ‘Yashobhoomi’ in Dwarka.
With a total project area of over 8.9 lakh square metres, Yashobhumi will rank among the largest MICE (Meeting, Incentives, Conference and Exhibition) facilities in the world. The convention center includes 15 convention rooms including the main auditorium, grand ballroom and 13 meeting rooms with a total capacity of 11,000 delegates. The auditorium has one of the latest automatic seating systems that allows the floor to sit auditorium style for a flat floor or individual seating arrangements.
