Deputy Inspector General (Administration) of Assam Police Parthasarathi Mahanta received an honorary doctorate degree

Deputy Inspector General (Administration) of Assam Police Parthasarathi Mahanta received an honorary doctorate degree.
 He is a poet, columnist and actor despite his busy schedule. He conducted his research on 'A Study on Challenges and Practices for Achieving Work-Life Balance in Police Profession with Special Reference to Guwahati Police Commissionerate' .He holds an honorary Ph.D. from Downtown University.  
 He formally received the degree from Hon'ble Governor of Assam Gulab Chand Kataria at the convocation ceremony of Assam Down Town University held on Saturday.
 Mahanta, who is also the Head of Special Task Force of Assam Police, completed his research under the supervision of Dr. Homeswar Goswami, retired Head of Department of Economics, Dibrugarh University and currently Senior Professor, Department of Management, Assam Down Town University.
