MP Politics: PM Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of Sant Ravidas Temple, said: MP is starting a new era of social harmony

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday laid the foundation stone for a Rs 100 crore memorial and art museum of Sant Shiromani Swami Ravidas at Bartuma in Sagar district.  He inaugurated Kota-Bina railway line doubling and laid the foundation stone of two road projects worth over Rs 1,580 crore.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a public meeting in Dhana.
  Prime Minister Modi said that Sant Shiromani Swami Ravidas was a symbol of social harmony.  He removed social evils and awakened the society. Today, India is following his path and moving forward on the path of liberation from the mentality of slavery. Today, a new era of social harmony is beginning in Madhya Pradesh.
   The Prime Minister said that Madhya Pradesh deserves praise.  Madhya Pradesh is moving forward.  When work is done in a spirit of harmony, saints emerge from society.  Sant Ravidas Ji was also such a saint and Mahatma.  He said that Sant Ravidas Ji was born during the Mughal rule.  Society was struggling with tyranny.  Then Sant Ravidas Ji was awakening the society.  The Prime Minister said that while beautification work has been done in Banaras, the birthplace of Saint Ravidas, good work is being done in this direction in Madhya Pradesh.  In Madhya Pradesh, the railway station was named after Rani Kamalapati and the railway station was named after Tantya Mama.  Similarly, the five shrines associated with Baba Saheb Dr. Ambedkar are being developed.  He said that the teachings of martyrs and Mahatmas including Sant Ravidas would keep the society united through these places.
