Prime Minister Narendra Modi addresses a public meeting in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh on Saturday.  Here, he laid the foundation stone of a Rs 100 crore temple dedicated to 14th century mystic poet and social reformer Sant Ravidas.  He also inaugurated and laid foundation stones for other projects worth several hundred crores in Sagar.
Madhya Pradesh is scheduled to hold assembly elections by the end of the year and this is Prime Minister Modi's second visit in a month.  He also addressed a huge public meeting near Dhana airstrip, about 20 km from Sagar Badtuma in northeastern Madhya Pradesh, which was attended by a large number of people.
Addressing the crowd, PM Modi said that the land of the sea, the presence of saints, the blessings of Sant Ravidas and so many people from every corner came to give blessings.  Today, the foundation of the Sant Ravidas Memorial and Art Museum has been laid here to further enrich the country's shared culture.  By the grace of the saints, I have had the opportunity to lay the foundation stone of this holy monument some time ago.
