World Elephant Day 2023: When you think of elephants, you think of Assam, Kerala or South India.  But Rajasthan also has a unique place where you can spend time with elephants.  Here you can play with this giant creature of the earth, bathe them and get to know them very closely with walks on top of them.  We are talking about the country's first elephant village near Jaipur.  Let us take you to this village on the occasion of World Elephant Day.  The village is spread over 100 acres and tourists have the opportunity to have fun with the elephants.
Whenever you visit Rajasthan, you must visit the Elephant Village near Amer in Jaipur.  The elephants of Jaipur live in the ‘Elephant Village’.  Located at the foot of the Aravali mountains, elephant village is a tourist attraction.  Here is everything for the elephants, what they like.  Large ponds for bathing, large thanas (enclosures) for living and fruits, vegetables, sugarcane etc. for eating.  It is the third elephant village in the world and the first in India.  More than 100 elephants live here.  Their Mahavats decorate them so beautifully that even taking photos and videos with the elephants is a great experience.  From children to adults enjoy the elephant safari here and feel the thrill of touching and bathing them.  The elephants have been brought from Assam and Kerala.  Elephant riding to Amer fort was very popular, it was in view of this that the Rajasthan government had envisaged setting up an elephant village.
