 Evergreen stylist Tony Bennett's devotion to classic American songs catapulted his career, and he continued to grace the industry for decades.  Publicist Sylvia Weiner confirmed Bennett's passing to the press, saying he breathed his last in his hometown of New York.  There was no specific reason, but Bennett was diagnosed in 2016 with Alzheimer’s disease.
