The Ministry of Education has recently announced the nominations for the prestigious 'National Award to Teachers 2023' .
 The award aims to honor and celebrate the outstanding and exemplary work of teachers in higher educational institutions, including polytechnics.
 The initiative is in line with the objectives outlined in the National Education Policy (NEP)-2020, which emphasizes the restoration of high respect for teachers and attracting the best talent into the teaching profession.
 Nominations for the National Award for Teachers 2023 can be uploaded on the Rashtriya Puraskar portal.
 The awards will be conferred by the President of India during a grand felicitation ceremony scheduled for September 5, 2023, in New Delhi.
