The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has announced the launch date of the much-awaited mission Chandrayaan-3. Chandrayaan-3 will be launched on July 14 at 2:35 pm. Earlier, the agency had fixed the date between July 12 and 19. The focus of Chandrayaan-3 is to land safely on the lunar surface. ISRO President S Somnath said that under the Chandrayaan-3 mission, ISRO will attempt a soft landing on the moon on August 23 or 24. This will be another major achievement of India in the field of space.
