Pakistan is incensed by the growing defense cooperation between India and the US. Pakistan says it would directly jeopardize its security interests. Pakistan has also expressed strong objections to the US. It says growing defense cooperation between the two countries threatens the stability of the region.
Pakistan has lodged its objection with the United States through diplomatic channels, official sources told Pakistani newspaper The Express Tribune on Thursday. Pakistan has told the US that providing advanced military hardware to India without taking into account its legitimate concerns would undermine strategic stability and traditional balance in the South Asian region.
“Pakistan told the US that India would be excited to acquire advanced technology and would jeopardize Pakistan’s national security interests,” the sources said.
