Madonna's manager, Guy Oseri, announced the singer's health via an Instagram on Wednesday. Oseri said the singer had a serious bacterial infection, which forced her to stay in the ICU for several days. He added that her health is improving, but she is still under medical care.
Oseri also announced that all of Madonna's current projects have been put on hold. This includes her world tour. “We will need to put all commitments on hold at this time, including the world tour. As soon as we have more information, we'll share it with you, including the tour's new start date and some pre-scheduled shows."
According to reports, the singer is now out of the ICU and recovering. In fact, the singer announced a celebration tour earlier this year to celebrate the 40th anniversary of her singing career. The tour was set to kick off July 15 in Vancouver, followed by the US and then Europe and Amsterdam on December 1st. However, it has been postponed for now due to the singer's health.
