The Sahitya Akademi on Friday announced the list of winners for 2023, and four from Assam feature in the list of winners in different categories.
Rothindranath Goswami was honored with the prestigious Bal Sahitya Award for his outstanding contributions to children's literature.
Among the other winners is Jintu Gitartha, who has been conferred the Yuva Sahitya Akademi Award.
Mainaosri Daimary has been conferred the Yuva Sahitya Akademi Award for his thought-provoking works in enriching Bodo literature.
Pratima Nandi Narzary has been conferred the Bal Sahitya Akademi Award for her outstanding contribution to children's literature.
