In a natural disaster one person was killed when a guard wall fell on the person when he was sleeping .
Locals said that Muktar Ali, a resident of Barpeta was sleeping in his thatched house in Jonali Path of Dhirenpara area.
The landslide was reported above the thatched house near a building adjacent to the guard wall.
A sweet factory located near the thatched house where Ali died was also affected by the landslide.
Two more persons living in the factory received minor injuries, locals said.
